Men-an-Tol – SW426349

Located on the North Eastern Side of Penzance-Morvah road at Bosullow Common. The turning in nearly opposite to Chun Castle. Parking. Walk up the track – it is quite a walk but worth it. Men-an-Tol (holed stone, also known as Crick Stone/Devils Eye, Men-an-Tol meaning “Stone of the Hole!”) consists of a wide stone about 1 metre tall, cut into a circular shape by human hands with the hole about 45 centimetres, either side are standing stones of approximately 1.2 metres tall. Clock the positioning of the stones. It is unique and dominant in folklore. Men Scryfra is close by.
